Life has been a little hetic in our home lately.
One of the girls I work with was having some problems with her living situation so she moved in with us for a month. We were also getting ready to go on a one week trip to Hawaii for Nick's parents 30th anniversary. They were renewing their vows on August 1st.
We have been home for a week now and are still playing catch up. Floors need to cleaned, laundry needs to be done, summer decorations need to be put away, and fall decorations need to be put up.
Nick decided we should host Thanksgiving this year, which means we will be cooking for 14-16 people. It will be our first big holiday dinner. We are trying out a few recipes we hope to use for Thanksgiving this Sunday. This means I should actually be posting some recipes in the new future.
I also have a mushroom risotto recipe I need to blog. We made it the Sunday after we got home from Hawaii and it was very good.
Here's to hoping I actually start updating this blog on a regular basis!
